The island of Likoma in Africa's Lake Malawi is a fishing hotspot. However, due to its geographical location fishermen from Tanzania, Malawi and Mozambique all fish within its waters. Over the last decade fish stocks have plummeted, fishermen that used to have their nets broken by the hauls they brought up are now lucky to catch double figures in nets over a 1000 metres long. Three of the four species of 'Chambo' that the fishermen go in search of are now Critically endangered.
